Robi (Ibor) is a good friend of mine and a very talented yoga teacher based in London, UK. Her approach to yoga practice and teaching, although highly professional and disciplined, is somewhat outside standard canons and stereotypes often associated with yoga practice.
I wanted this characteristic to be reflected into her brand image and tried my best to avoid clichés that are far too abundant in anything associated with yoga, not to mention casual cultural appropriations of religious symbols.
The logo and patterns however originate from various iterations of the process of combining and dividing well known sacred geometry compositions. With the logo in particular I wanted to convey the idea of stillness, lightness, suspension and balance.
